abandofbrothers was founded by three men who are the trustees and directors of the organisation.  

Michael Boyle is a psychotherapist, leadership consultant and student of mythology. 

Over the past 18 years he has lead men’s groups in a wide variety of personal development settings, including prisons and addiction centres endorsing the value of mythology, emotional literacy, mentoring and rites of passage as essential pathways to maturity. 

He has initiated Rites of Passage and mentoring projects for multi-cultural and disaffected youth and has also co- lead men’s residential retreats with Robert Bly, Richard Olivier, and Dr Robert Moore among others.  

He holds an MA in psychotherapy from Regents College, London, is qualified in Communicative Psychotherapy and is a Master Practitioner at the Guild of Mythodrama. He works internationally in leadership development and has co-created Mythodrama workshops for the cast of Shakespeare’s Globe’s past productions of Henry V and Merchant of Venice. 

 

Richard Olivier is Artistic Director and founder of Olivier Mythodrama - a unique leadership development consultancy. He works internationally as a leadership development consultant, Keynote conference speaker and workshop leader.
He was a leading theatre director for over 10 years and directed Henry V for the opening of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London in 1997.

Richard is the founding voice within Mythodrama - a new form of experiential learning which combines great stories with psychological insights, creative exercises and organisational development techniques to explore issues faced by modern leaders. He has worked extensively in the fields of Organisational and Personal Development and his work today is at the leading edge of bringing the world of theatre into the development of authentic leaders.
From 1998-2003 he was the Master of Mythodrama at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and is an Associate Fellow of Said Business School, University of Oxford. He was a guest speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos in both 2003 and 2009.
He is the co-author (with Nicholas Janni) of “Peak Performance Presentations - How to Present with Passion and Purpose” and the author of “Inspirational Leadership - Henry V and the Muse of Fire”.

 
Nathan Roberts is a self employed workshop leader, consultant and social entrepreneur who works across the not-for-profit sector.
Since leaving the corporate sector in 2000, he has worked with young people and youth professionals locally, nationally and internationally.
His career includes time with some of the UK's most innovative youth charities such as
Youth at Risk and Raleigh International.


His work has included projects with socially excluded young people in Bermuda, Australia and many different areas of the UK.
