Who are you really?

So who are you really? You have already embarked on the adventure that is the rest of your life. Our society says that you are now allowed to drive, have sex and buy alcohol. You’re stepping out into the world as your own man. However, you’re probably discovering that the world expects things of you which you may or may not be happy giving.

So given that, how do you act in the world? Do you shy away, keep your head down and try to stay invisible? Or do you just try to fit in? Do you act in destructive ways because you're frustrated at the way your life looks? Are you using substances or extreme behaviour to mask what is going on for you? Or do you just switch off completely, letting life pass you by?

The question we have for you is are you ready to start making your own choices? Or are you still trying to prove something? Are you trying to please those around you without thinking about what it is that you really want from life? Trying to please your mother? Your dad? The teachers? Them? Do you think you will be happy when you've got enough stuff and can be like the man in the ads? Or do you suspect there may be something missing, something else?

Maybe you suspect there is something more, something else, some different way of living that would be more fulfilling? If you're tired of being told how you should be, look and act, then maybe this is your time. If you want to be your own man living your own life, then maybe this is your time.
